WHY: 

Become a member of the Birthday Book Club for a donation of $15. This membership allows the participant the opportunity to select one new book from our special “birthday book collection” and donate it to the school library.

 

A special label with your child’s name will be placed inside the book cover of the new book. The new book will be presented near your child’s birthday and your kid will be the first one to check it out. Once returned, the donated book will remain in the school’s library collection as a reflection of your child’s generosity and for the enjoyment of all.

 

When the birthday month arrives, participants will be recognized for their generosity with a keepsake photo of them holding their chosen book and displayed in the “Birthday Book Club Corner” inside the school library.  The honoree will also be recognized in the Wolfe PTO newsletter, on the Wolfe PTO webpage, and recognized in the daily morning announcements on his/her birthday! Only the child’s first name, followed by first initial of last name, and the book donated will be posted. Students with May and Summer birthdays will be celebrated in April, to allow students the opportunity to read their book before the end of school year.

Your donation will help directly support our library and our librarian, Mrs. Craig, with new books, technology, and ancillary activities.
